A few years ago I had ChipsAway repair on another car and was very impressed. In a previous life I work in a spray shop and I couldn't tell that the car had had a smart repair.
Thanks! Sven said that his benchmark is that I should not be able to spot the repair (knowing where the scratch was) and that someone who didn’t know about the scratch certainly shouldn’t be able to detect a smart repair. As I say, I’m impressed by his thorough approach so far. I’ll report back on the 26th. :)

He has his own workshop, so the work is done there, rather than outside on the driveway.

Hi,

The repair went well and I’m impressed with the local ChipsAway guy (Sven).

He has his own workshop and has been trading for 15 years.

He said to leave it at least 4-5 days before cleaning or polishing.

Once I’ve washed the car, I’ll post an ‘after’ photo, but it seems like a very good job to me. :)

Cheers,
Simon
