Really love my Macan Turbo, it's a great all round vehicle and is definitely my go to car ( we have 4) Just calculated the approximate cost to swap out my current Macan, which would be around mid late Spring if Turbo release is as I am being advised and it's a lot! V keeping for longer and buying something else with the funds just for fun.
Like this, what do you think?
Change for facelift or?

Looks like more fun than a facelift you would barely notice. Not sure I'd want to own a Lotus though! I would probably put the money into something else like a Boxster, but depends what your other 3 cars are.
I had an Exige S 220 for 3 years back in '07-'10, used as a daily! It was great fun in winter after work, seeing if I could open the doors that had frozen shut and then waiting 15 mins for everything to defrost. That said, I used to manage to fit a guitar case in the passenger seat, so pretty practical? Upgraded the brake pads to Pagids, changed out the exhaust for something light and noisy and I also had to seal the inside of the boot with silicone sealant to stop water ingress (never leaked a drop after). Other than that, the car never missed a beat mechanically or electronics wise.
Once you get used to the lack of safety features and accept that in a crash, you may get badly hurt, I can think of very few other cars that give you such a perfect sense of raw, seat of the pants driving. Miss mine something rotten and wish I'd kept it in the garage as a toy.

That was my reasoning to avoid a Lotus actually. Just too many idiots on the road now. One of my wife's colleagues got involved in a head on collision a few months ago (after the guy in the other car got distracted and swerved into her). The guy died and she got away with fairly minor injuries. She was driving a brand new Ford, while the other guy was in a much older car. Police told her she was lucky to be in a new car otherwise she probably would have been dead too. Makes you think about what you drive and stacking your odds etc.
