What a weird map. Loads of sad looking faces all around London and Manchester and pretty much nothing in the Midlands or pretty much anywhere else!
There’s more detail if you drill down. I’m not sure what the different colours mean, though as I have studied it in that depth.

If you only select FATALS on CrashMap you can scroll out to get a wider geographical data spread.
Peteski's suggestion of a theft map probably already exists in the hands of insurance companies. Pity they don't releaset he information so that those in the worst hit areas can't take better deterrent precautions. Being able to identify area theft by vehicle value would be interesting!
