Peteski's suggestion of a theft map probably already exists in the hands of insurance companies. Pity they don't releaset he information so that those in the worst hit areas can't take better deterrent precautions. Being able to identify area theft by vehicle value would be interesting!
Check out local crime stats. You can search by postcode albeit no vehicle values involved.
