Intrigued as to how many are tempted by the 992 given the problems Smithy has had with the same tech on his Cayenne. Personally I would wait until problems emerge and are sorted.

Nothing to do with having acquired. 991.2 earlier this year!

Manual gearbox will appear next year. Same cost as PDK, but you get Sport Chrono thrown in! Oh, and about 55 pounds lighter. :geek:

Read today that they won’t have the particulate filter in the US 992s as the law doesn’t require them there apparently. The Yanks reckon their 992s will subsequently sound better!

I’ve heard that the sound is compromised with the new rules so that’s consistent

Another reason to stick with our 991.2s then. ;)

I am & I’m the one with all the problems, lol.

I’m either a glutton for punishment or I hope they’ve sorted their rubbish out. I am looking at the fact there hasn’t been a steady stream of cars rolling off the production line so less people to feedback issues. The current PCM is utter garbage. A 5 year old would code it better. And then there is the wet. As soon as it rains my car wants to shut every sensor down. The dashboard becomes a cacophony of sound & a smorgasbord of error messages.
Turning my Safety sensors off in a downpour doesn’t make for intelligent driving.

I’m prepared to give Porsche the benefit of the doubt. They’ll either sort their issues or I’ve been unlucky with a lemon.

Anyway, for sale - one barely used Cayenne Turbo. Immaculate with legendary Porsche reliability. 😂
