Anyone flicked through the PP this month? There is an article with an exclusive PCGB offer for Esso fuels. 2p off a litre. So far so good. However, I am confused. Esso premium fuel has a 97 RON rating. Looking inside the fuel filler cap of the Macan GTS and now Cayman GTS I find a sticker informing me to fill up with 98 RON fuel. If Porsche would have wanted us to fill up with 97 RON juice, wouldn't the sticker have said 97?
Pedantic, absolutely, but I am also expecting a service to be done with the correct engine oil, not "almost" the correct engine oil.
Mrs Nosmo will fill our other car up with Esso and take the discount. I will continue to feed the Porker with Shell's finest.
Taking cover now
Porsche Post - Esso tie up
mine has drunk almost exclusively Esso premium.....because the station is 2 miles away whereas shell is 15 mins +

Agree completely, Nosmo.
My fuel of choice will continue to be Shell V-Power Nitro Plus too.
P.S. If I see a Ferrari or Aston filling up, they are invariably at the Shell station.

I thought about it, especially as Esso is teaming up with Nectar (I do Sainsbury's a lot), but they're really making hard to sign up. Can't do it online.
I note that BP is parting ways with Nectar too and doing their own loyalty system.
I'll prob just stick with Shell though I like my local garage and they're cheaper than most places.
