Yes, well done sir! The right result in the end and shows that buying into the Porsche brand has benefits when the unfortunate things happen.
I know you will love the GTS!

Great to hear you got the result you wanted Smithy. Nothing less than you deserve for putting up with nine months in a Christmas tree lights dash in the Cayenne. You had the patience of a saint IMHO. The 991 GTS is a special car, enjoy.smithy37 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:07 pmIt was a great outcome & I really appreciate the DP stepping in to micromanage the details. When we were £8k apart I thought I was on a hiding to nothing. So I was a little surprised we got here so quickly after my initial disappointment.
Whilst we were there I spotted another Cayenne Turbo sat follornly in the car park and joked what is that in for. The answer was PCM. Should I have been surprised? I was only joking after all.
To all those waiting on, or receiving, new Cayennes the PCM has allegedly been updated. So hopefully you won’t have any of the issues I have encountered.
I’m too far gone to take the risk on another Cayenne, but I’d be happy for you all to prove me wrong. Enjoy!!
I have a soft spot for the Targa but I'm not so sure about the colour. Crayan is one of those colours thats looks good when shone up especially below the showroom lights. I fear once out on the street with a couple of days grime collected it would look dull and lifeless.

Thats a great result smithy and the C4GTS is an awesome car - I've had two. The coupe is off course the best drivers car as with the targa you get the extra weight of the glass roof. Both great types of 911s so you couldn't have gone wrong with your choice.
Enjoy the new car and look forward to hearing about the car.

Nice result! A C4 GTS would be my choice too and always a Coupe with a 911! I don't mind the Targa, but I'm not convinced about the retro-styling of it.
