I think they quote 512bhp for the GTS - that would be quite a beast.

Decided today not to attend the Reading launch after reading some of the comments here about plasticky interiors etc. I coudn't be happier with my 991.2 GTS and SWMBO has said I'm not allowed to change my car for at least 3 years having had 3 Porsches in the last 4. I think she has a point!

The dash is retro - from the edge of the instrument cluster to the passenger door, it's very much like from the 70's which I quite liked. I didn't like the instrument cluster though. Each of the dials was sat at a different angle to the one next to it - didn't seem to flow well

Got a Newcastle invite today. Holding it at the Baltic flour mill on the Tyne, as the showroom is being re-built. As it’s there I think I’ll go. Probably stay over in Newcastle and make a night of it. Two launch events in a week. Yikes.

My thoughts exactly. I’m going with the Mrs as it’s in the Baltic this time so going to make a night of it and have dinner at 6 ( even though the nibbles are usually quite good) and stay over at Jury’s next door.

I will have a look on Friday but it would take something a bit more special than a 992s to make we want to chop in the 991 GTS. Wait and see I think.
