Sorry to spoil your Saturday night but we do agree on more than you seem to think its just that I do not post a +1 in response to your posts.

So we recently had someone start a thread with a post of pictures of their pet on one of the threads, one way or the other that got taken down.

Shouldnβt off topic in a Macan forum be nothing more than discussion on the 992? After all, the merits of letting in ISIS folk receive plenty of coverage on the Daily Mail web site........

Yes I kid you not and then others started to post pictures of theirs. It was ridiculous - haven't looked but I'm sure there are other forums for that sort of thing.

A lot of technology is shared cross platform so it makes sense to frequent somewhere that has personally been helpful to me in the past. Whether I own a Macan or not, itβs still the Porsche marque. Off topic is surely the correct place, however I can genuinely see where the lines are blurred. I guess a moderators opinion would would help to focus the lines.

I think I'm correct in saying the forum has one administrator and one moderator. I think that is good because so far we've managed to be largely self regulating. We always welcome new members to our "friendly" forum. My concern is if politics and religion become regular topics the forum will struggle to remain friendly.smithy37 wrote: βSun Feb 17, 2019 11:44 am A lot of technology is shared cross platform so it makes sense to frequent somewhere that has personally been helpful to me in the past.
