I’ve watched the Car SOS programmes and enjoyed most of the episodes, however I have to say that I was very disappointed with the first episode of the 7 Day Challenge.

My interest is in the car being rebuilt but the Land Rover being restored hardly featured at all in this programme. There was lots of silly comments in front of the audience and a pointless interview with Ross Kemp, all aimed at padding it out to an hour.

If I watch episode 2 I might as well fast forward to the end and see the outcome of the restoration.
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

Cayenne GTS - Mar 2022
Cayenne S - Aug 2019 to Mar 2022
Macan Turbo - Feb 2018 to Aug 2019
Cayenne S - Apr 2015 to Feb 2018
Cayenne - Jul 2013 - Apr 2015
BMW R1250GS - since Dec 2021

The last 20 min or so on any Car SOS is the best part of the show. True craftsmanship, however, is seen on Bitchin' Rides with the guys from Kindig It. I'm utterly gobsmacked by those cars. I truly would dump cash into one if I had money to burn. In fact, I would ask for a Porsche "reimagined" a la Singer to see what they could conjure up. Their Merc Gullwing recreation was astonishing.

Not seen the 7 day challenge but like Car SOS, see the fantastic job they did on this Toyota FJ40. Always interesting to see so many artisans and specialists that are around still doing incredible refurbishment work, plus a few modern specialist companies. Thinking of asking RedWinches to fit up my Macan 🤒⁉️

Indeed it seems to have collected the worse aspects of the show... basically too much Tim. I always think the discussion as to how to make the reveal such a waste of time.

Any scene containing Tim is a waste of time. If I had a work colleague like that, I'd be instantly dismissed for aiming a good punch.
