Seems to be a recent announcement floating about. Looks like the Macan will be only an E-SUV...

I posted something about this a couple of days ago. There are rumours that starting price may be c.£70k. Also rumours that it may appear as soon as Geneva next week according to this article.

When the early adopters start jumping into EV Macans I'll pick up a bargain pre-owned Mk2 GTS ;-)

No need to stop there! I reckon there could very well be some special edition run outs. Who knows!

Given that this e-Macan supposedly has the same interior space as a Cayenne, it looks as if Porsche are effectively dropping their smallest EV and the e-Macan will sit alongside the petrol and hybrid Cayenne. Should be an interesting proposition and I will be in the market for a replacement family SUV in early 2022. Whatever I buy next I already know for certain it will be a full EV and this is probably the only thing that could tempt me away from Tesla in that timescale.

There’s also been variations of the same ‘leak’ that puts the starting price in the mid 50s. Journalists doing DIY marketing and picking a number!

Whatever the ultimate price point(s) the skill will be to create a beast that will sell in and around the current level and not alienate the chickens that have laid their golden egg!

If not, I might just keep my Turbo forever as a classic 😁👌

yes I agree I would not rely on Facelift GTS arriving or it having a long sale period!!
