He's a YouTube "Influencer" that monetises subscriptions and views and generally gets stuff sent to him so he doesn't have to buy them anyway.

It's a cycle: talk crap on YT. people follow you, get a certain number of followers and you get invited to things, sent stuff to review, comment on, get more subscribers/viewers. google send you money for this due to advertising, and on it goes.

Some people are annoying rich kids to start with, especially on fashion "influencer" channels, but the system is the same.

Good luck to them! But I do wish he'd find someone to hold his camera for him.

The sad thing though Nick is these plonkers are role models.

Last year I asked our Grandson what he wanted to be ...... a Youtuber ..... was his response, btw he was 8 at the time.

His Father even took him to a show where one if his favourite Youtubers was on stage.

In fairness to Shmee (Tim Burton) he left school at 18 and set up an online electonics retailing business which he subsequently sold so he does have some substance to him. He is hugely irritating on camera though! He is thought to make about £2m a year between YouTube, consultancy work etc. Not bad for doing something he plainly loves.
