Fair do’s to JLR.
They have come out with it.
What did VW do, deny and cheat.
More emissions woes! JLR this time
They"re all at it. Our 2019 model Leon FR has regular summer pattern tyres, but runs 2,9 front / 2.7 rear pressures compared to 2.2 F / 2.0 R for the 2018 pre-WLTP model. So another way of getting low rolling resistance!Rab J wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 6:21 pm Spud up the exhaust stuff I would imagine. A bit desperate when they have to go to the expense of low rolling resistance tyres to squeeze it below the emission level. Having said that no doubt the British "jobs worth" regulators have given the British company a much harder time than the Germans did to their manufacturers who seem to have been waved through with a minor tweak
I've already told SEAT if the centres wear out first then they buy the replacement set

If they surgically removed horse-power from under my bonnet and gave me donkey-powered vehicle, I would demand my money back!Paul wrote:Service actions are voluntary, recalls are mandatory.Pivot wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 9:52 pmCan the owner refuse refactoring of the vehicle that achieves lower CO2 emissions and higher sh!t experience?Paul wrote:at least they're being honest....

Currently in the UK you can...if the recall isn't safety related then not having it, isn't a MOT fail. Certainly in Germany any outstanding recalls is a failure of a HU test.Pivot wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 9:52 pmCan the owner refuse refactoring of the vehicle that achieves lower CO2 emissions and higher sh!t experience?Paul wrote:at least they're being honest....
