Hey guys,

As I was well warned, once you get into Porsche that’s it - sucked in! We just ordered a 992 Carrera 2S this morning, name on the list as we don’t want delivery until next spring. Order books are filling up and it earliest delivery would be January anyway.

Premil spec done but that will likely change, new colours and other new bits due to added July 2019 (HUD, etc) so who knows. I also mentioned that GTS could be launched Sept 2019 although my guy doubts this - as we would switch to that.

Changing my Audi S3, so that will be one hell of a purchase as it is mint condition with only 18k on the clock. Really unsure about value - that’s a worry for next year.

Yep, we are to blame.

Post your spec and we will add another £5k at least so you will be the subject of a double whammy.

Porsches are habit forming.

Welcome (soonish) to the 911 club and I can guarantee you won’t regret it.

It does seem that Porsche ownership ultimately leads a lot of us into a 911.

Congrats on the order

Many congrats, Simon, and welcome to the 911 family. The 992 has had great reviews, especially for its driving characteristics, from the likes of Chris Harris and Henry Catchpole.

Cheers,
Simon

Post up your spec so we can add some valuable comment lol.

I’m driving a 992 at Silverstone in July so should be a fun day.

Cheers Guys, bit of a wait - but that's ok.

Still unsure re colour, spotty chrono & Rev colour may also change, hope the link works

Decisions, Decisions! It seems new colours in July, probably with Carrera and Carrera 4 launch and lockdown around Xmas / Jan

Thought about the Macan - but we like it too much.

Also looking forward to 2nd Silverstone visit.
