I got my configure request today (I ordered mine on launch day in April 2016). You can only get the full interior / tech with AWD, and so that makes it over £50K with self driving.

Maybe not as cheap as we were initially led to believe (Tesla promised prices would start at $35,000, which in today’s money is £26,600), but not bad.

Not bad!!!??? £38900!!! And inclusive of grant!!!

I don’t know which planet the TG journo lives on (I hope he doesn’t do the family finances) but by my rapid-reckoner I make the price 50% more than the original hype - net of grant.

That is some miscalculation!

Hmmm. It’ll be some time before I consider trading my current motor for an EV... 🤓

Just been on their website and apart from the expected marketing blurb there’s nowhere to get a really good look at the beast and the options(!) without placing an order. Unless I’m missing something.

There are very limited options. Drive train / interior spec as above my pic above. Five or six colours, two wheels. Black or white interior. Autopilot or not. That's it.

Am sure that demand will be high, despite the limited options available, and the higher prices than originally anticipated.

I couldn't even find the dimensions on the Website, did finally find them elsewhere, it's very slightly smaller than the Macan in both Length and width.

I know its a sensitive issue but I still detest the entire dash etc. And call my old fashioned but I really cannot come to terms with the giant iPad. I was always under the impression that visual cues and data should be close to the eyeline and controls should tactile and have a manually positive selection feedback.
