Just a render I know, but this is starting look like the closest thing to a baby Macan, especially if/when available in (R)S form:

More news in July apparently.

The size is right, pity it is based on a Q3.

A Q3 sized Macan would be awesome, it is a pity that the one supposedly under initial development fell by the wayside.

Fooled about what? :?

Macan is rather too big/heavy for some of us, whatever its considerable other attractions. Porsche don't make a baby Macan sadly and don't appear likely to do so in the foreseeable future. so the only real option is to look for the closest alternative in other makes. Of course it won't be a Porsche, but that's kind of inevitable.

Daughter has brought home a new Q3 Audi S Line courtesy car tonight. It’s quite nice in S line spec.

It'd be good if Porsche made a Macan out of carbon fibre (like most supercars) to render it lighter with even better handling and acceleration. I know, I know - it would then be miles more expensive; a nice fantasy to have, though !

I suspect Junior Macan will be based on Q4 EV platform.

By the way, where is Peteski? I suspect he would have a considered opinion on this [emoji41]

I suspect the Q4 EV will be the basis of the full Macan EV when it eventually arrives. Q4 EV is seems likely to be too big - almost as large as the current Macan - to become a Macan Junior (unless of course all models are upsized as is the wont of car manufacturers when a model is replaced, but then that would leave a space below for what we're talking about here).

The Q4 EV was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show... check the GMS thread.
It should be launched ahead of Macan EV / gen III
