He's had two 911's 991.1 &.2 and both have had serious electrical faults/Wiring loom faults and have been bought back by Porsche. I thought the Macan was part of his deal from Porsche from buying back the 991.2 and it was a stock car he had no input into.

His cayenne options video was very good but he does have some rather strange views about what you should and shouldn't spec!

Mind you he had a loaner base macan for a while when his 911 was being repaired for several months and that broke down and started doing funky stuff too. Connecticut Porsche must be bricking themselves every time he walks into the dealership!

NB This is based on US options of course so doesn't totally map 1:1 with what's on offer in the UK, but most of it is the same or similar.

Did I see the word 'DISCOUNT' mentioned in a reply? How the heck did he manage that?

It’s a lengthy 1 hour 10 minutes but a very comprehensive and sensible summary of every possible option. I found myself in general agreement with Nick’s assessments of each option.

Out of curiosity, I called into a OPC to enquire about a new Macan S. Before I discuss another vehicle I always negotiate a price for my trade- in, which is hypothetical in my case as I'm keeping it for at least two more years or more, and the price they offered was a joke even by OPC standards.
£33k for a 23,000 SD with Bose,PASM, 21" turbo wheels, full leather etc etc.. That would represent a loss of £14k in 13 months. I thanked them for their time and left.

I managed 2k, you will need to be prepared to travel and phone around.

65.5 is an expensive spec tbh, you might be better waiting for a turbo or gts if spending that abount of money.
