Top Gear
What is the point of taking three cars across an African country?
Surely the BBC can save tens of thousands of pounds per episode by keeping content within the UK? They are supposed to be short if cash so they are taking food out of Pensioners mouths to fund a bunch of guys on jollys to foreign parts.
As for Dumb and Dumber, the less said the better.
Yep a new liw for the show.

Well, TG is an international entertainment show, generating good income for BBC from across the globe. I stopped watching TG some time ago as it is getting long in a tooth, but having travelled through Africa myself I might check this episode.
Having said that, it can be a lower-cost production. I met once a guy in Africa, filming a program “Don’t tell my mother...”. He was travelling across the world, visiting less documented attractions. It was just him and a camera man. I saw it later on TV and it was a decent program.
@Col I agree with you re pensioners, however TG might be one of the few programs actually having healthy P&L account.

Must admit, saw it was on and for the first time thought about the presenters and decided no, I won't waste my time with it. It's an ex-show, dead, deceased, bereft of life, shuffled off from this mortal coil.......

Just watched.
Cringeworthy, impossible to throw new guys together and expect them to gel.
Might get better?

^^^ At least they kept Chris Harris.
Still good to watch when Chris is doing stuff on his own.

Yesterday, I was watching the Grand Tour on Amazon before turning over to TG when it came on. I noticed Mrs Happy laughing out loud at the GT (even though she was just background watching while surfing her iPad), however when TG came on there was no laughing.
It really looks to me like a third rate show now. At least the GT is amusing. Also, has anyone else noticed that Harris seems p****d off with the very, very childish antics of 't northerners?

I enjoyed last nights (30th June) hearse episode. But I find the jokes quite crude at times. And Paddy too shouty.
Chris Harris' car reviews are good though.

Give me a car show full of Chris Harris’ reviews and lose the two clowns.
Job done.
