Going turbo-less and complying with new legislation seems to have ‘slowed down’ this car... 🤔

P.S. Macan Turbo PP was quoted as 434bhp and 0-62 in 4.4 seconds.

The other factor is that it is manual and not PDK, I suspect if they introduce a PDK version that will be faster. If you think back to 991.2 GT3 - manual was half a second slower to 60.

^^^ Very true, Arif.

Many have said that for various reasons, they weren’t going to put the 991.2 GT3 4.0 engine into the GT4. Other than engineering challenges, from a marketing point of view, Porsche need to maintain clear blue water between the performance of the GT4 and the GT3. ;)

Hope you’re still relishing your beautiful GT3. :)

Yes loving it thanks Simon - but time for a new car, got a 992 C2S on order for September delivery - haven't locked down the spec yet. May end up keeping both.

Was in getting an air con top up today and spoke to my SE at OPC Glasgow. He said they have no allocation info yet, and it’s likely to be a time-bound limit rather than a specific number.

He has my spec, so we’ll see what he can do...

The 0-60 worries me, but...if it’s all the more accessible then it may be a winner.

Very nice - Cayman for me

Don't think you should worry about 0-60 times - 4.0L @ 350HP(?) is going to have a a fantastic response at most speeds and be bomb proof :P

420 hp 0-60 4.2s. Slower than my current (c. 3.7s). Plenty to worry about.

420hp ! then that seems an even less likely to be an everyday issue except for the traffic light grand-prix team. Perhaps they filled it with lead to take the times or fitted 18 x 195 tyres?

Good to hear, Arif. :) I saw a white 992 on the M25 the other day. Looked good. Wide and low. Quite an impressive presence on the road. 8-)
