I was delighted this evening to be invited to Áras an Uachtaráin to meet the President, Michael D Higgins.

I was there representing the Irish Men’s Shed Association.

I treated every glass of wine as a tax rebate

We don’t do ties in Ireland these days. Plus it was an informal event. Smart casual was the dress code.
