992 - 200bhp increase remap

Just seen the following on noseybook and find myself stunned by the two quoted figures.
200bhp increase from the base motor & 580bhp from the S model.

Blimey... interesting how they get exactly the same figures for the base and the S with its bigger turbos...

Scares the wotsits out of me thinking about tuning a £100k + car, particularly knowing how Porsche will wriggle from any claim.

I had my old 535d bmw tuned by DMS years ago then I tuned the next car , an X5 with the same engine, and big red letters appeared on the service receptionist screen saying tuned car !

Not bothered with my dailies since

A follow up post which makes for interesting reading:

The c4s we used was consistently producing 475bhp on Vpower compared to the claimed 450bhp. Interestingly it produced near stock figures on normal unleaded. Seen similar on these new emissions friendly turbo cars from different manufacturers.

I’ve heard of cars producing less on stock fuel but less so this way around
