...although my guess is that the Taycan 4S will be closer to £90k than £100k, to maintain parity with Panamera pricing. The Taycan Turbo and Turbo S are both priced slightly below their Panamera equivalents. :geek:
Good guess :D

Thank you :)

Starting at 'only' £83,367, a whopping £32,491 less than the Turbo, I predict these things will fly out of the showrooms!

And surprisingly, the Taycan 4S is a huge £9,076 'cheaper' than its Panamera counterpart! :o

And I'm sure that a trim level below the 4S will be introduced too...

Nice one, Porsche.

Be interesting to eventually see what price point the EV Macan S will be pitched at - £60k?

As far as I can see, there is no jack with the car and you have to spend £42 to get an electric compressor and tyre gunge.

Including the above accessory and the long range battery, I managed to get up to £97.5k on the Configurator. Time will tell if the long range battery is necessary as the charging infrastructure improves.

Hi Ray,

Well, seeing as so far the Taycans are all less expensive than their Panamera counterparts, and given the current price of a Macan S at £49,300, I'd guess a figure in today's money nearer to £50k than £60k, assuming the Macan EV is about the same size as the current Macan. If they decide to slot the Macan EV in nearer to the dimensions of a Cayenne, then the new Macan EV may well cost a bit more than its Macan (ICE) counterpart.

Cheers,
Simon

Interesting that the Taycan is pitched at less than the Panamera. My guess, however, is that the BEV Macan will be pitched at a higher cost than the equivalent ICE.

Been looking at the Polestar 2 and have to say I'm quite taken but as I'm a few years away from my next car I'm happy to wait and see :)

I'd be very tempted by a £50k Macan EV! +plus circa £7.5k of options (inevitably) :D

Why is the confuserator showing £103k before I've even started ticking any boxes? Where is this £83k version? Or does that not include wheels, paint and seats etc?

Are you looking at the Porsche GB site? The £83k Taycan 4S was there last night and is still there now. Including wheels, paint & seats! ;)

Peteski, looks like you have chosen the default suggested configuration by Porsche. You have to select the personal configuration to start at the £83k
