Ah yes, that's what I've done. There are 2 suggested configs, both around £103k it seems. I'll have another go from the baseline and see how that ends up.

.... Well I ended up at £104k without breaking a sweat on options. Still too expensive for me in this spec.

Top Gear Taycan v Model S as of 30 October. And a few surprises, maybe.

Interesting video but I don’t really think there were any surprises.

Yup!

TG have admitted using old data from previously tested even older cars for the Tesla figures.
It was not the latest (Raven) incarnation of the S and they didn’t use launch, so the S was about 50bhp down.

The ‘Race’ was an edited together shambles, that didn’t match the results they rustled up.

It turns out, it was about as real as TFATF!
I’m surprised nobody have any ‘Danger to manifold’ warnings

Shame on the BBC

I look forward to seeing them head to head at some point, with a reputable outlet.

Regardless of this and assuming range and cost not an issue which would you rather drive?

No question about that one ;)

It’s just a shame the BBC wilfully misrepresented, what a lot of people were wanting to see.
