Jumped into the Mac, this afternoon to move it onto my drive. Placed key in ignition, and then turned it to starter position, against the spring. Nothing at all happened. Then realised I took for granted that all should be ok. Looked down at the dash, and saw that nothing at all had lit up. Then looked at the PCM screen, and the same there, nothing at all. Turned the key a few times against the starter spring, absolute zero, (not keyless entry). Fully removed the key and then repeated the process, all was fine as per normal.
This happened on three occasions about the same period last year. It went into the OPC, while I was away. They couldn't find the fault. But said if it happens again, I need to record it on phone, as Porsche will not investigate faults without evidence of it. But that's sods law, just didn't have phone to hand when fault reappeared. I wonder how long it will last?

Something similar happened to me. Stuck the key in, turned, nothing.

It was ok though, I had the 718 key in the McCann...
