Congrats MCDK.

I popped down to my local BMW dealer and saw the new BMW 135i. I have to say it looked really good. The interior was very nice and the tech is better than Porsche.

A few pics I took ...

That is exactly what we have ordered. Certainly a bright blue and will look good beside by Sapphire GTS.

Yes the rear does look very good. Probably the best exterior angle to view.

I wouldn't have posted about my new motor, but why not now there is a thread..............
I moved from my 3rd Porsche earlier this year to a Beemer. We wanted a convertible, and really tried to convince ourselves that a Boxster would be suitable, but definitely not all for long Euro drives, a 911 Cab was too expensive. So we ended up with a 440i Convertible, it was pre-built at the factory and through Car Wow, I was offered a significant discount. Best of all worlds for us, hard top coupe, decent engine, ZF gearbox, adaptive suspension and a head up display, content with runflats and the security they offer, and as I now appreciate, it's very well built with lots of tech and detail controls that would be good to see in a Porsche. We're just back from 2500 miles around France, 80% with the roof open, the mechanism is an enginering masterpiece. The boot takes two good sized cases when roof is open and in the boot, the back seat takes more than a Boxster could in total, essential for Mrs B. I bought from Sopers (set up by Steve Soper - British Touring Car champ some years ago) in Lincoln, a family owned franchise. Absolutely love the car, it's our 'sportscar'. I'll be back to Porsche when the novelty wears off.
