I'm almost with you on privacy glass but only with it just on the rear windows. On Macan No2, I ordered clear glass, then had all the glass tinted the same, thus avoiding the 'van' look, and the trim wrapped at the same time. It also acts as a UV filter that protects the leather from the sun, so it's beneficial.

Which company did you use for the tints and what sort of cost?Bigboyrolo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 11:25 amI'm almost with you on privacy glass but only with it just on the rear windows. I’m looking to purchase a car with the right spec but doesn’t have privacy glass and your route looks very appealing.
Can anyone else recommend a tints place around London?
TIA
We have used Bannings to tint the rear screen on our first Macan SD, they are near Guildford, just north of the A3.

I used a small local firm, VTM Customs in NORWICH that I had used before, and since, for tinting, unless you're nearby no use to you I suspect. As for cost, less than £250 for all 4 Macan windows I recall, with a lifetime warranty. They use XPel, have just done a 3rd car for me. It's really the skill of the person applying that matters most. One local firm insists on removing glass to do the job - no thanks.J1220 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2019 11:02 pmWhich company did you use for the tints and what sort of cost?Bigboyrolo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 11:25 amI'm almost with you on privacy glass but only with it just on the rear windows. As always with this sort of thing, DYOR ( do you own research) and look for good feedback.
