I agree, Tracky. It seems that Porsche built a lot of 991.2 GT3s. More GT3s than Ts, so perhaps the ‘bubble’ will burst, to a degree. I think there will be a GT car in my Porsche ‘biography’ at some point in the future... :|

My friends were trying to convince me to ditch the lotus and get a gt3 instead of the 992 but it didn’t make sense as I didn’t want to daily something like that

^^^ My trouble is, I would daily drive it. I know that some have done so, but I also appreciate that that’s not what it was designed for. :P

The GT3s have certainly come down in price, the only exception being the GT3 touring which are currently still fetching strong money.

You could drive it once or twice a week to work but it's not something I would suggest as a daily driver.
Current:
992 Turbo (July 23)
MG4 EV Trophy Long Range
VW Caravelle 6.1 4motion DSG
Suzuki Swift Sport

Previous Macan SD, Macan Turbo, Macan Turbo, 991.1 C4GTS coupe, 996 C4S coupe, Macan Turbo, 991.2 C4GTS coupe; 991.2 GT3; 992 C2S; 991.1 Turbo S

Sensible advice, Arif. :)

But then, most would advise me not to spend £10k at Litchfield on upgrading my Carrera T and not to drive over 23k miles in it in my first 19 months!

Out of interest, apart from increased depreciation, what's the main reason for advice to not daily drive a GT3? If it's ride quality and/or refinement/cabin noise, I think I'm pretty much there already in my modified T. ;)

(I would likely swap the Michelin Cup 2s for Pilot Sport 4Ss)

I think you probably are there with your modified T - it was mostly down to ride quality on our pot hole filled British roads.

Saw this on Litchfields Facebook page. Doesn’t look like stock exhaust tips to me. 🤓

My turn in a month.

FYI Smithy TDI do a tuning box for the 991.2 GTS that gives 513 bhp (and a useful hike in torque but don’t remember the number) for less that £500. Thought you would be interested to know
