Gentian is gorgeous in the flesh. I have a Sapphire 718 and I'd prefer Gentian.
Macan S D
718 S
718 S
Gentian blue is not as dark as Midnight blue, but it is much darker than Sapphire.

The configurator image is not very realistic. Better to browse online images of Gentian Blue 992s. Or even better, see one in the metal!
As with many/most colours, looks very different depending on lighting conditions (indoors under showroom lights, outside sunny, outside overcast etc).

I have Gentian blue C4S cabriolet which I’ve had since May, I get many comments about the colour, I love the way it looks, quite dark blue, pops to a bright blue in the sun and even has some tones of purple in certain light.
I would say the blind spot assist is good as the hood does decrease over the shoulder visibility and it’s not an expensive option either.
I also have amongst over options the heated GT steering wheel which is lovely, the 18 way seats are great and supportive and the Bose stereo which is adequate but not a patch on the Burmester I had in my Macan.
I think the sports exhaust isn’t a must have, the car doesn’t sound great with it either way and part of me prefers the mechanical sounds and turbos over the hoover like sound of the exhaust when on.
It also has the LED matrix PDLS plus lights, they are expensive but work amazingly well.

That looks lovely.
Interesting your comments about PSE, I must have got lucky - it sounds lovely and far better with it switched on
Also disagree on matrix having had them on my previous current generations AMG E class. I think the Porsche ones are rubbish in comparison and what spec them again. They also get confused very quickly.

That looks stunning. Especially with those (RS Spyder?) wheels. Congrats!
