Well I've been getting Itchy feet again lately and looking for something slightly different next. This morning I noticed that there are a few pre reg Cayenne e hybrid coupes on the Porsche site so it got me thinking. I had a chat with the guys at Gilford who have a keenly priced white one. Over 10k off list price so realy got me thinking. Nothing bet a visit to Belfast for a chat and see what they could do. They have three on site so its a matter of picking which one I fancy. This is the black one I favour at the moment, some nice spec and very keen to deal.

Apparently there were quite a number of them brought into the country in October, probably to beat the possible Brexit price increase. Now there hanging around looking for good homes with dealers keen to move them on.

Yes, sad but true, not sure why realy, its a fabulous car but I have nearly always change after 18 months or less. The 911 will be two years old in March so just fancy a change.

Well good luck with the change and hopefully you don't suffer the same remorse I did moving from a Cayman to a Macan if you do the 911 to Cayenne swap. Good luck whatever you decide

Blimey, Rab, that time has flown by! :o

I’ve seen a few Cayenne Coupés in the metal and I like the look of them. Black suits them, I think.

Hope you get a good trade in on the GTS. How many miles have you done in it?

Cheers,
Simon

The issue I have with Hybrids like these that the electric range is next to useless no matter how little you drive. I had a Mini Countryman Hybrid on loan for a week before our M135i arrived and even after a few days I got that I could hardly be bothered plugging it in for it to deplete itself in less than 20 miles. The electric bit is somewhat a novelty but unless range is decent it seems a lot of flaffing and fuss for very little.

They do look great cars thought the Cayenne Coupe but a V8 petrol would be so much more special.

Hey guys,

There is a lovely white 992s in Belfast OPC, 2k miles, well specced and circa £98k and I think a few pounds could be haggled off. Deffo worth a look, I don’t think it’s a demo - red belts so pretty personal.

Rab you would get rid of your GTS no worries 😊. Wait for a Taycan?

On a different note, our 992s has a build date, rolling off the line 27th Jan. Delivery March or so.....Mrs Simon very excited, money down and locking next week
