Now that we seem to be returning slowly back to normality, how has your business changed? What sector do you work in? Has your priorities changed?
I personally work as the Commercial Manager for a building contractor and have gradually started to see some flickers on our pipeline in the last week or so. Projects on pause will return but with non productivity putting pressure on the position of our margin and new bids have started to convert to firmed orders. We forecast a 6 month black hole and then an upturn in revenue in the new year. Much of our project work was based in the pubs and restaurant sector so we have learned the hard way about having too many eggs in a basket and as such have had to quickly diversify to other sectors.
