He eventually bought one.

All the right mods done and very nice to drive.

Ha ha! Have just been watching an old episode of Morse (1988)! Tracky’s Dad’s car looks in much better nick! Lots of days out at classic car shows in that, no doubt!

To my untrained classical car eye it looks pretty much faultless and far better than extortionately priced cars we saw.

Insurance company has already valued it at £5k more than he paid.

Engine was rebuilt and slightly bored out - my dad still drives like he is teenager sometimes!!

Upgraded brakes and box

Interior was recently re done at c£12k. He doesn’t like the colour so he is ripping it out and putting his preferred colour in! He did the same with one of his brand new dailey cars once - because it was a performance model it only came with a black interior. So before he took delivery he had the whole lot whipped out and a unique colour put in

I’ll leave the classic car shows to him, that is not my cuppa at all!
