Compact Premium SUV: #1. BMW X3
Positive mention of Macan and Infinity 50
Just don’t mention the BMW EGR cooler fault. I had it go twice on my 2015 535d.
So far the Macan is proving to be better.
June 2017 Macan GTS in Carmine red with 21” gloss black sport classics, GTS leather package, Air, PASM, PDLS+, pano roof, Sports Chrono, 18 way seats, BOSE, surround view, heated seats front and rear, carbon side blades and carbon interior package.
So much better to drive than my old RR Evoque and the Velar.

Loving my 2L Turbo Macan with Sports Chrono, 18-way Seats, Wonderful Display Screen, 20" Turbo Alloys, PASM, PS+, Sports Exhaust, Pano-Roof, LED Headlights. Ignore the haters, this is a SUPERB car
I guess one conclusion from that JD Power table is that all modern cars are relatively problem-free, at least for the first three years. In round numbers, the best makes have only one fault in the survey period while those towards the bottom of the list have two. Not a huge difference really. Given a choice of course you'd rather have Lexus, Porsche etc, but even Fiat is not that bad.
