Renault still have a huge legacy (poor) quality reputation to shake off.
During the early '00s, when I ran a Renault dealership, warranty work was approaching 35% of workshop turnover. By the time the franchise restructuring took place in 2011 it was sub 10% and on a par with Skoda by comparaison.
Huge strides taken since they bought Nissan and Ghosen took the helm.
Would I buy a £40K SUV from a " Mainstream / Volume" franchise......probably not, but more because of a perceived lack of exclusivity and doubts over the after-sales care rather than any misgivings about the car.

I agree 100%, apart from the front lights. Squint and it could definitely be a Macan. The rear design is very much like a Macan, with the influence of the new Porsche rear styling a la Panamera etc!

Looks okay, but residuals will probably be poor, no? Might make it a good used proposition in a few years time. I wouldn't give it much thought over a Macan either way.
oh the front of that car looks hideous with them stupid circular lights on the front.
its not for me.
