It has to be right up there with the best designed cars of all time?

It looks stunning. And if sized midway between a 911 and a Panamera, would be perfect for me. And late 2019 would see my Panamera nearing the end of its three year warranty... :geek:

+1. Let's hope the finished product is not far from the concept.

All that's needed, Simon, is a network 300w stations to charge the blighter

They've got 2 years to sort that, Mike! :ugeek: Fingers crossed!

80% charge in 15 minutes sounds promising! But as you say, it depends on the coverage of suitable charging points...

Can I have one in Swindon (maybe at the OPC available 24 hours) and one in Broadstairs, please...?

If it works as well as it looks then it will be a stunner. And just demonstrates how good it can be when a 'proper ' car manufacturer takes the EV route seriously.

Agreed. The Car interview that you posted, Mike, had the head of Porsche saying that the actual production car should be pretty close to what we've seen. (Smaller wheels maybe!?). And in fairness, the Sport Turismo is very close to the prototype/concept from 2012.

Visually - absolutely. The question mark, until it hits the road, will be the performance and practically. Will it, for example, like the Panny and Cayenne hybrids, be too heavy?

Well, I guess that unlike a hybrid, it won't need a big heavy internal combustion engine under the bonnet... And they're quoting a 0-60 of about 3.5 seconds... :)
