Agreed, Macan GTS would be a closer comparison to the SQ5, rather than the top of the range Macan Turbo PP.Mike and his Macan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2017 5:41 pm That’s a fair point... but I’m was just thinking that the what car test should have used the GTS as a comparison , rather than the Turbo.

I agree, Steve, as the manufacturers would be keen to get publicity for their latest models, but makes for something of a mis-match in a group test...

Wow, is that the first we’ve heard about the shift back? What drove the change? Were you not tempted by a Macan SD if diesel your thing?SQ52GTS wrote:Well I’m back happily installed in an SQ5 diesel and my GTS is long gone.

Change in circumstances, I’m going to be doing around 20k miles per year.
GTS held value well, lost £4,500 in 11 months which was happy with.
Did consider Macan diesel but like the performance of SQ5.

Ditto. Great outcome. My SD has probably lost £15-£20k since Oct 2016 by comparison! [emoji44] and only done 6k in it. Definitely keeping for another few years!
