Hmm 8300 (60%) of 13800 registered Macans in the UK is a major hole.
Diesel GONE!
Especially when the autocar article etc refers to porsche commenting that it’s not that big a deal as only 15% of their volume.

Agree that axing diesel sales in the uk will put a major hole in their sales volumes for Macan and Cayenne

Very clear to say as a proportion of world sales. Not sure I'd want to be a UK dealer until a Hybrid is available in Macan and Cayenne to "seemingly" plug the hole. I guess they're hoping the facelift is minor and they can maintain a Macan market turnover interest with OPC approved diesels.

There is always BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, RR etc who will be more than glad to accept the extra orders left by the Porsche Hole.gtipirelli wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:21 pm Agree that axing diesel sales in the uk will put a major hole in their sales volumes for Macan and Cayenne

JLR are cutting their production later this year blaming uncertainty over Brexit and higher diesel taxation. So I guess they are not expecting a rush from prospective Ex Porsche Diesel driving Brits to take up the slack.

Just realised that also means the build links in our signatures won't work anymore for us SD guys.
Shucks....I still quite liked having a quick look at my SD config/pics from different angles etc.
