I see the FT reported last month that law firms Your Lawyers and Slater and Gordon are going to the UK High Court in March for approval of a Group Litigation Order against VWG over the emissions scandal. Some 55,000 owners have signed up, does not mention Porsche in the list of VWG cars though. It also mentions in some jurisdictions including the UK, VW has offered enhanced trade in terms to customers.

....once they’ve agreed who’s taking the lead and whether one will be sued by the other for breach of confidentiality!

Just realised that also means the build links in our signatures won't work anymore for us SD guys. :(
Just had another thought that they might be stopping the SD PEC days - so phoned up today and booked mine for a month's time. :D

PS....My 2 year period was nearly up anyway!

Is there actually a 2 year period. I ordered 2 years ago and didn’t get there yet. Got an email a couple of weeks ago reminding me of the offer with absolutely no time limit stated.

When I booked mine I was told by PEC that there was a two year time limit.
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

I’m there this weekend...is it normal to get told that you must print an access pass for your car? Seems like there’s a “private” event ongoing at the same time...

Cant wait to get in the car and hopefully catch a glimpse of something special...

Just to add to sources of information, the following article was in Auto Express this week.

It certainly looks as if the Macan SD is gone for good. Does make you wonder whether the 4L diesel will appear as a Cayenne S Diesel.

"Porsche is ending production of all its diesel models – so used Macan diesels might soon be in high demand"

"The S Diesel feels very refined and quick. It’s also very smooth, with Porsche’s seven-speed PDK gearbox working wonders under the bonnet. If you’re after the best mix of performance and economy, it’s the one to go for."

They say 2 years from when you get the invite. My invite came in March 2016 just after ordering my SD for delivery in Sept 2016.

My 2 years is therefore up this March so I phoned them to check + answer was they expect people to have PEC within 2 years but can extend period for up to 3 months if necessary. Don't know how much that's in tablets of stone but guess better to get it booked. Overall though, probably would've benefited me having it earlier as I'd have already been more aware of what the Macan can actually do!
