Thanks, VanB.

What's a 'sanctioned' OPC?

I was sure that I've read on here previously that some/many OPCs had stopped offering this service, possibly due to issues of insufficient storage space?

Sorry WingCo was intended to mean "genuine OPC sanctioned by Porsche" as opposed to a Porsche dealership. I guess that all of those belonging to Porsche GB will still store your wheels/tyres but less sure outside of that (e.g. Dick Lovett)

Thanks, VanB. I'll ask Swindon OPC when I'm there next.

OPC Tonbridge which is owned by Lind also stores the rims for free. I also believe that you have to buy the rims from them to qualify.

GTS: PHVVUV96 Picked up on 16/06/16

I used to use ATS Tyre Hotel. It was very reasonable providing you were happy to use them for replacement anyway.

Thanks, Nosmo. Perfectly reasonable that you buy the wheel/tyre sets from the OPC, if they offer to store them & change them for free... :)

I guess it does depend on how big the OPC is & what storage facilities they have. :geek:

DL Bristol store mine and swap foc, at least so far! I bought the rim and tyre set from them when I bought the car. They are stored in a large shed and, while not exactly a 'controlled environment' at least it is dry and, importantly, dark.

Thanks, Nick. That is good to know. As Swindon have moved to a new bigger premises, hopefully they'll offer a similar service. I'll have to save my pennies for a winter wheel/tyre set... :geek:
