Macan 2 S confuserator now in place
VG Petrol S http://www.porsche-code.com/PHIVCQU7 And a GT3 RS... by Lego! Not crash-tested!
I’ve just created the nearest spec to my existing Macan and it’s looking about +£1K compared to 2016. Seems reasonable! Particularly considering some of the improvements.
I still think, though, that’s there’s a gross lack of real choice for 20” wheels. Yes there’s choice but all very similar.
Question. Will the alleged improved ride compensate for a move to 21s?

I specced one I could live with. £70.8k
22k in options

Front end is a bit minging, but I couldn't live with the SD kit styling, so this is not bad. Quite like the 20" wheel options on the version 2.

I only paid £64 K for an all-singing and dancing GTS! (with a massively over-priced interior)

Ultimately this is why I went Turbo in the first place - so much more is standard, but I still ended up having to spend a lot
All the more reason to keep the car for longer if you get the one you like

Totally agree, I’ve not really seen anything to make me consider changing, personally as nice as the new Macan is i genuinely prefer the original, it’s the rear end I prefer as it looks more “Porsche” to me, thankfully we are all different, have to agree though the GTS & Turbo do provide better overall purchase,goron59 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:41 pmUltimately this is why I went Turbo in the first place - so much more is standard, but I still ended up having to spend a lot

^^ Indeed. And the "new" infotainment thing will be "old and dated" before the end of 2019, or putting it into context, before most people will get it. Facelift is just that.

the new infotainment is rolled out on the all new Panamera, Cayenne and 911 therefore we should see it for a long time - guess it will be there for the long run

Well, I've only been a Porsche customer for 3 years and I've seen 3 distinct PCM versions on new cars in that time.
The first one already looks comical in comparison to the latest one, yet looked pretty good at the time.
A "long time" in this modern IT-based world is about 6 months!
