Does anyone know exactly what 'Sport' mode (on the steering wheel rotary selector) changes? This table from the manual seems to be only part of the story, but I can’t find any more details.

It’s still early days for me to get a good feel for the car (and obviously not yet run-in) but I think the throttle response changes as the same amount of accelerator deflection seems to give you more power. The steering weight increases slightly - does the ratio change, or is it fixed? PDK clearly favours lower gears / higher revs. Is there anything else? Are the brakes 'brake-by-wire'? Does their response change?

Hi Andy,

What a beautiful Macan!

PCCBs look SO good on a blue Porsche!

Your photos look much better than the configurator images!

Welcome to our friendly forum, congratulations and enjoy your car! 😃

Cheers,
Simon

What is missing from the table is the suspension PASM settings also change to the equivalent as you move to sport or sport plus.

By going to settings in the MFD you can set "I" to say comfort pasm and sport driveline or sport driveline and sport plus pasm etc

Ah, ok. I’ll have to try that. I assumed the Sport alone option in the individual setup was setting both chassis + drivetrain in the same way as the Sport setting at 3 o’clock on the selector does...

Thank Simon,

I went for the PCCB option mainly for easier cleaning with no brake dust and also to avoid rusty, pitted discs - living by the sea and leaving the car parked at the airport has meant this was often an issue. But you’re right the colour combo works very well. The look of the big yellow callipers against the sapphire blue paintwork is growing on me day by day!

The airport makes a good backdrop for your photos! :)

And Porsche know how good a blue car looks with the yellow PCCB calipers. 😎
