Thanks everyone!

Really pleased with the purchase and part ex my old 2015 Macan S. Agree that the engine note in gen 2 is a bit under whelmed but pleased with the new toys. This one is better equipped than my previous.

Porsche Preston has done a great job and it was really a pleasure to deal with.

Had the car detailed and coated, and put the 20" Spyder on.

Looking really good! Classy colour! I’ve got a 718 Boxster S in Night Blue with Sport Classics as a loaner today. :)

Cheers,
Simon

I’m a fan of Sport Classics, and had them on my own Macan, but I think that your Night Blue car looks even better with the Spyders! :)

Yes I like the Spyder better too. This is my old set from Gen1, so 20", which is the preferred size.

As to the sport classic, it was initially silver and previous owner changed to black and there might be some smart repair afterwards. I am still thinking whether I would just sell them or re-do it properly by strip out, powder coat and diamond cut the lip. As said, I like the Spyder better.

I may be biased, but because of the front end treatment ( less naked cooling fins showing) and the contrast of the diamond cut spiders against the night blue, I think that actually looks better than a post-2020 GTS in the same colour!!

Agree
Those Spyders suit the darker colours much better imo.

Are the gen1 spyders and gen2 spyders exactly the same except for colour?
