Just come back from a good 300 miles trip up to the Evo triangle and Llanberis Pass. I've fallen in love with this car already, and not gone above 4k rpm yet.
Can't believe how good these Michelin tyres are as well, the weather has been shocking but the tyres have been amazing.

Just passed the 1000 mile mark last night, slowly getting to 1800.
Not done over 2000 miles a year in our cars for a loooooong time, do around 25k in my works van though.

Just had another 1st, puncture. Never had a puncture on any car tyre before, went to pull the car out the garage this morning to give it a clean and warning on dash, 25psi down, nearside rear had a nail in it. Lucky the sun was out so I could clean it, it's been parked there for almost 2 weeks and taking for a blast round the Brecon Beacons tomorrow.
Typical that I had a puncture on the nearside rear of my works van on Thursday night, let's hope these don't come in threes.

Dunc, good to see you finally getting some miles on the car
Who did you trust to sort the puncture? Somewhere local?

Kingswinford tyres, used them for years. Touch wood I've never had a problem with them, apart from waiting times while they stand around talking.
I took the wheel off myself and ran it down in the van. Thankfully the nail wasn't too close to the side wall. Gave it a good 200 miles test Sunday and it passed.
You changed you car again recently mate?

I’m ‘in between’ cars at the moment mate. Just waiting for the price bubble to burst - although that might be a while yet the way things are going.
By coincidence, my brother messaged me yesterday about a nail/screw in the middle of the rear of one of his 991.2 20” GTS Spyder wheels. It’s a very slow puncture and needs removing. He’s got the diamond cut outer rim with the remainder coloured and he wanted somewhere that’s going to do a perfect job, without nicking the alloy. Thus me asking if it was anywhere local. I’ll mention K’Ford tyres to him. Cheers

There's BMTR in Perry Bar, a mate has always sent his Porsches there.
Also A line tyres in Dudley, superb place but parking can be awkward.
I started using K'ford tyres cause the wife went to school with some of the family.

So, completed the 1800 mile running in today and finally given it WOT, gets a
from me. The gearbox is an absolute gem!
Just been down to Elan Valley and then cut across to Devil's Bridge from there, the roads are tremendous. 100% recommend them to everyone, but best bet is to do them early on before the 25mph crew get out and about though.
