Apparently both turbos have been replaced (at only 7,000 odd miles / 3 years old).

I suspect that’s probably through lack of use and being driven hard from cold on the odd occasion the previous owner took it out. Hopefully all will now be well as they really are fantastic cars.

Blown turbos were favourite. This can be caused by failing to cool them down after a hot run. It’s good practice to let the engine idle for a minute or two before switching off allowing the lube oil to conduct heat away from the bearings and seals.

Glad to hear she’s fixed, have a nice run back!

Leg 2 : Eurostar
Now entering tunnel :)

...now doing 300kph which looks pretty speeds :shock:

I somehow doubt we’ll be managing such speeds in Ruby between Aachen and the Dutch border on the way back :lol:
