Great choice.

Emmm Silverstone eh.... looks very similar to the Turbo whose neck I wrung around the PEC.

;)

Enjoy the ride

Indeed, that did cross my mind! 😉

But it was privately owned and seems to have travelled the length and the breath of UK and France, seeing the Nav inputs. 😃

Although Arif has it down to a fine art! ;)

Wishing you many happy miles in the smart blue Turbo! 8-)
I guess you know about spur-of-the-moment car swapping. 😉

Very nice! Would be very tempted by night blue next time around. How are you finding the switch from SD to Turbo?

Thank you Hawkeye! :)

Night Blue is beautiful, lots of metallic specks in the paint and it is quite deep colour. Even when speccing our SD it was our 2nd choice, but I wanted red leather seats, so Volcano Grey won. But we prefer the night blue. The Turbo comes with a lot of options as standard (PASM, Bose, Connect Plus, Alcantara rooflining, etc are all standard features).

The Turbo is very rapid, of course. There is less of the PDK / turbo lag on drive off from standstill and at roundabouts. The torque is available from about 1350 rpm to about 4500, so sooner and runs out much later than the diesel. The car also feels tauter than our SD, if that makes sense. And then there is the exhaust note and burble on the overrun. Not as raspy as a naturally aspirated engine, but still, gives you goosebumps.

The road trips to the Czech Republic will cost quite a bit more in fuel now though.

Great looking car, same wheels as ours - I really like them. Hope you have many happy miles in it.

Thank you, I was looking for a car specifically with those wheels. 😃
I had them on the SD. In fact, those wheels are mine, they swapped them over as I wanted to keep my summer tyres. The Turbo was originally on all season tyres.
