no just lazy - none of my cars are keepers as they are leased. It will get a squirt from a hose at some point just to wash off the road salt and winter crud. I don't mind giving the interior the once over every two weeks or so though.......
The only times my Boxster was washed was when it had to visit the dealer - so in year one 3 times as it had gearbox problems, and in year 2 twice - once when I had a bodywork repair and again when it was serviced.
I used to wash, polish, detail etc etc......but (a) I got bored (b) it got difficult due to knee and ankle problems

I've got a friend . He never ever washes his car either , just lets the rain do it . I find it relaxing , even though I cheat by only washing the sides and back in bad weather . Plus the wheels . Timed it at 8 minutes .

I find that after the initial burst of enthusiasm for cleaning a new car, I usually revert back to the "gintonic" system after a week or so... Wink

Definitely worth it. I use them in the ML and after 27,000 miles and many muddy boots, the carpets are like new.

(Shame the bodywork hasn't stood up so well..)

Some of the more washed 928s are starting to show signs of wear on contours where a bit more pressure has been inadvertently applied, wearing out the paint.
No such problem with mine on the "gintonic" system for 25 years.

Looking great on standard Turbo wheels. We've ordered them for our SD.
