Done today, probably the best it will ever look. Crystal Serum with a 7yr guarantee, topped with EXO. £645 charge, done by an expert accredited guy; some OPC's would charge as much for lesser applications. The first photo is from my iPhone 6S, the rest from my 'better' Panasonic camera, but only when I got home did I notice that it was on the wrong setting, so all are bit too 'bright'. Yes, you do see mudflaps, they blend in quite well I think. Some all round window tinting to be done Friday, front and rears in the same tint, then I think it's done.
Unless I go for some Paint Protection Film, not sure about that.

Forgive my ignorance but what does the serum do if not paint protection?

Not really sure, Mr Google will know. It seems like a good idea though, as advised. My guess is that it adds the hydrophobic quality that crystal serum does not have.

Car looks great.

Crystal Serum provides the paint protection - mostly protecting against damage caused by poor washing technique. It's so hard that the only way to remove it is with sandpaper (I kid you not). I still wouldn't let the OPC touch the paint let alone a "hand car wash"

Exo is a hydrophobic layer that gives extra gloss and beading. Doesn't last that long so will need redoing from time to time.

The difference in my cars with and without it is incredible.
