Great looking. I have the same wheels for the winter tyres. For around £500 you can have them painted to look like the black classics. No idea whether that would tickle your fancy. It did mine....

Nosmo - Thanks, I think so too. I'm coming round to gloss black. Have just had these done, but find them too bright. I chose to lose the polished outer face of their original finish (GT silver) , they had several kerbing marks anyway. I will probably kerb them myself before the winter, so would have the re-done again after winter, will give due consideration to gloss black at that time. Did you keep the outer shiny part, or do the whole wheel in black, could you pm a photo to me?

Hi - They have gone into storage. Can't send you a picture. Sorry. I didn't go for the outer rim in alloy / diamond cut. If I kerb them it would be easier and cheaper to fix without the diamond cut rim.

I went for matt black - they are the winter tyres and the gloss finish would be lost with all the mud and crud around. Done through OPC Tonbridge at £528 inc of VAT (£440 ex VAT). This price included the centre caps. PM me if you want to know more.

Most likely he meant a G-Techniq product, like C4 Permanent Trim Restorer, not Serum. C4 is an excellent product for plastics which removes the oxide layer and seals it for protection, making it blacker (oxidizing plastic makes it grey), and the protection helps hydrophobic properties.

Looks like they've disappeared in the transition to the new-look forum...
