I have sent a message to the admin team about this but so far no answer received.

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to rotate a photo to the correct orientation when posting from my IPhone please?

This was something that the previous forum version managed to get right towards the end, but this one has yet to master!
I have uploaded photos from my PC, edited and rotated correctly but which, on the forum viewed on an i-pad, appear sideways!
Not a solution to your question, just confirming you are not alone!

Just a general photo tip...

Car pictures in most situations are better off taken in landscape. It always amazes me that many still take portrait photos on their cars since it looks out of proportions and just leaves a lot of "waste" above and below the object in focus. Bonus is also that pictures will be displayed correctly on the forum 😁

I'm amazed that anyone takes pics and especially video in portrait format. You don't hang your TV on the wall in portrait format, do you?

Or upside down depending on which way you hold your phone in landscape :)

I don't like Tapatalk app much, but when you use it to post pictures, it posts them to Tapatalk's servers and links to them. They seem to come out ok regardless of how you take them.
The added bonus is that if this forum goes to seed, your content will still be on Tapatalk.

Surely it depends on whether the subject matter is tall and narrow or short and wide doesn't it?

Anyway, as far as posting photos on here, I will consider my knuckles firmly wrapped and use portrait in the future!
