Now my wheels are in lovely shiny VG, the silver calipers sort of disappear. So they will be painted later this week, my preference is yellow against the VG. Yes, I know that usually indicates ceramic brakes, not trying to fool anyone, (and that the centre caps need lining up). I just want them to stand out.

Anything but 🤢 green!
Black would work ok too if you want a bit of subtlety.

I like the red personally, but think yellow will look good too.

+1 for gloss black...(very storm- trooper!)

Alternatively, how about a non-"standard" fluo orange.....?

Plenty of tyre wall on those 19"s :D :D :D

I'd go for gold to match the wheel centres if you really want to paint them, or black.

Personally I think black would be your best bet as it would complete the look. Yellow would stick out like a puss filled sore on this car IMO

What an image, thanks Van B. Thanks for the comments, pleased to not see any criticism. Not black, they would be invisble, red not bold enough, not hybrid green either - yuk, so still prefer yellow but like the thought gold, it would be unique.
