Yellow, so long as you are prepared to continually inform Porsche enthusiasts/geeks who ask/comment, that they're not actually PCCBs. ;)

Spook, Yes indeed plenty of wheel protection esp with the reinforced sidewall on Continentals. I already had the 19's as a spare set and with Air they give a ride we both like. I saw your recent post of the 21 platinums on your VG car and they look great . I ordered 18's on the new car (now stored) to keep the cost down convinced that 20 or 21's would be too noisy based on test drives, since then I've learned that tyre noise on both 19 & 21" Michelins is rated the same at 71db. So I may upgrade to Platinum 21's next year., with Air I'm sure the ride will be fine.

Before you upgrade make sure you have an extensive test drive on 21's BBR. Those quoted dB figures are from the outside of the car and do not necessarily equate to what the ear interprets. And think about your raised anxiety levels too when approaching kerbs!

Thanks Nuclear Nick. A good point but if their Db output is the same, surely our ears will hear the same noise level for each size? It's not as if 19's are 65 and 21's 75. I have no knowledge of sound level technology, so I'm probably wrong.
Anxiety about kerbing? indeed, my last Jag had 35 profile 20's all round and were drawn to kerbs like magnets. Perhaps it will be the £4000 to buy them that will be the deciding factor. Mrs B would see that as a holiday!

My Michelin summers are quoted as 71db. My Dunlop winters are 72 front, 73 rear. But when driving on the motorway, immediately after switching, the winters are noticeably quieter. There's a lot more to what the occupant hears as perceived noise from the tyres than bare quoted sound pressure levels detected by a roadside instrument.

They will be yellow, aganst VG should look good although any colour I want is available. being done tomorrow as will the window trim wrapped in black. It's odd how my taste has changed from when I ordered the car. Now I love the stealthy agressive look.

Be interesting to see the wrapped window trims. Is that an expensive change?
